It was completely unexpected and made me heartclench. And thank you very much, my Mysterious Benefactor Secundus for the paid time to thecatevari. That was equally unexpected and equally delightful.

I really HATE that I'm not...better at expressing thanks; more eloquent, more...MORE. Because all of these things separately and together have meant a lot to me in a time that I'm struggling with myself a lot. And if I'm not so great at SAYING that, I hope that you will understand that, however feeble my words, there is a depth of feeling there that I can't get to, but I still FEEL.

Not so long ago, I wrote a...stream of consciousness THING on my personal LJ about friendship and how much I really suck at it, but the truth of the matter is that I really and honestly have never felt so lucky in friendship nor so loved as I feel now. And that's thanks to y'all. So thank you.

Recently, I read this post by hth_the_first, talking about the Venn diagram connectivity between Slash and Queer and the places they divide. Today I read this post by sailorptah about the fandom trope of "We're not gay, we just love each other" and what's wrong with the most common presentations of it.
